The competition is our chance to highlight the Lynn Woods while fundraising to maintain and improve our local climbing areas. The competition will run all day and will have roughly 100 climbs included, scattered throughout the entirety of Lynn Woods. In addition to the community, our volunteers put in lots of effort to ensure there is plenty of help with finding your way to climbs via direction signs and maps, easily identify your climbs with labels, and clean all the landings, climbs, and topouts to make sure your day runs as smoothly as possible. At the end of the competition, all competitors and volunteers will meet back at basecamp to award prizes to winners and host a raffle to send prizes home with as many people as we can.

Each competitor will receive a Lynn Woods Boulder Bash Competitor Handbook that will state the rules, boulder information, maps, problem spreads, and maps.

The majority of proceeds go to Western Mass Climbers Coalition, a 501(c)3 not-for-profit local climbing organization with a mission to protect climbing areas for current and future generations of climbers. A small amount of proceeds will be retained by the SNECC to cover annual operating costs.
